In this paper, a low-power and low-noise readout circuit for resistive-bridge microsensors is presented. The chopper-stabilized, recycling folded cascode current-feedback instrumentation amplifier (IA) proposed to achieve the low-power, low-noise, high-input impedance. topology (with Monticelli-style, class-AB output stage) can enhance overall noise characteristic, gain, slew rate. consists of IA, low-pass filter (LPF), ADC driving buffer, 12-bit successive-approximation-register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC). prototype implemented in standard 0.18 µm CMOS process, with an active area 12.5 mm2. measured input-referred at 1 Hz 86.6 nV/√Hz efficiency factor (NEF) 4.94, respectively. total current consumption 2.23 μA, 1.8 V power supply.

Low Power Low Noise CMOS Chopper Amplifier
AbstractChopping is a proficient way to reduce the low frequency offset and 1/f noise in amplifiers. In this paper, a low power low noise CMOS chopper amplifier is presented. It is composed of a two stage amplifier. The first stage’s high output impedance and the equivalent Miller capacitance of the second stage constitute together a low pass filter, which reduces the power consumption. The cir...
متن کاملA Low Noise Cascode Amplifier
A low noise amplifier has been designed using a 2SK117 N channel J-FET as the input device in a cascode [1] configuration. Noise measurements on this amplifier yield a low frequency noise current of 0.25 fA/Yfu and a voltage noise of less than 1.2 n V NHz in the 500 Hz to 50 kHz region. Bloyet et al. [2] suggest a figure of merit of the product of the noise voltage and current as being appropri...
